Missing is the landmark series of Lohner flying boats, the famous Lohner L. Credited with destroying the French submarine "Foucault" and a couple Italian dirigibles, and their hangers, the two-seat recon/bomber served for the entire war with many notable accomplishments. The Italians captured one and produced a copy, the Lohner- Macchi L1. A picture of the Macchi M.5 in the Italian listings shows the aircraft. Ultimately, this led to the penultimate Supermarine Walrus and Sea Otter.
