Developed from the post first world war Avro Baby by the renowned F.G.Miles at his Southern Aircraft Company based in Shoreham, there was only six ever built including the one off but not necessarily similar Metal Martlet. The one in the illustrations is the second production aircraft powered by a 100 h.p. Armstrong Siddeley Genet Major.
