The DR.200 series was developed from the DR.100 series, and continued the familial resemblance to earlier Jodels. CEA succeeded Jodel and was renamed Avions Pierre Robin in 1969. The DR.200 (HR.200) series were progressively updated, then later replaced by R.2000 marques. Development of these touring, training and aerobatic types continues.
