Russian licence-built version of the Douglas DC-3, originally powered by 671kW Shvetsov M-62 radials in the PS-84 first version, but later fitted with uprated Shvetsov ASh-62 radials; production comprised a number of variants, some of them armed with turreted armament; the Li-2G freighter, Li-2P personnel transport, Li-2PG convertible model and the Li-2V high-altitude model are best known of the variants.
