Twice as heavy, larger dimensions, more crew, greater armament the only difference being that there was only one Su-12 as opposed to 864 Uhu's. Originally conceived in 1943 it did not make it's first flight until 26th August 1947. Whilst it achieved and exceeded it's design and performance parameters there was no available manufacturing space, so a move was made to have it made in Czechoslovakia but this was turned down as the powers that be said it had "failed to achieve it's designed performance". You couldn't make it up could you?

The date above is 1947 that is two years post War. This is a variation of the FW-189 easy. The SOVIET machine strength was espionage. After the Great Patriotic War USSR, USA and UK split up the German Scientists and Engineers. It is history IVAN.

Germans never copied a thing, that's why they never reach Moscow ,instead Russians who had copied just about everything from Germans ,according to guys above, walk into Berlin.

bombardier, 05.09.2012

Like many other Soviet aircraft it was copied from a German design.
