Have Quickie Q2 Serial #80 a beautfull lookng machine but recently found cracks near the root of the canard wing. Looking for informaton whether this is normal superfcial exterior paint cracking from the wing flex or major structural damage which at worst could lead to a wing seperaton. Any information from knowledgable informed composite bulders would be most appreciated. Thanks

I have been building my Q1 here in Ballarat, Australia. It is difficult to find information about this aeroplane .Just finished painting it and have the Rotax engine fitted. Had to build new engine cowls and modify the canopy housing. Build and fit new fuel tanks but stil have a long way to go. However this is a beautiful looking little aeroplane

We have one for sale, fully assembled that was taken off flightline and placed in a museum for 20-25 years. It was flying when taken out of service and engine still turns over. We have not tried starting it but everything seems to be in good shape....in case anyone is interested...
