In Poland.

Shortly after the purchase of the Potez XV aircraft, the Polish Air Force was offered the delivery of more modern Potez XXVII aircraft (in Poland the Roman numeral script was retained, although the Potez company was already using Arabic numerals at that time). The offer was accepted, the order for the last 20 Potez XVs in France was suspended and production at PWS was reduced from 110 to 35 Potez XVs. In the years 1925-1927, 90 Potez XXVIIs were delivered from France, including one standard for PWS and one rally aircraft. The entire delivery was completed in mid-1927. All aircraft were delivered from France by sea, only the rally aircraft was sent by air. (According to [3] - 20 aircraft were delivered from France in 1925). In the country, production was started under license, with 155 units produced by PWS between February 1926 and April 1927. In total, the Polish Air Force received 245 Potez XXVII aircraft. They were assigned a numerical type designation: 41. These aircraft, together with Potez XVs, were typical equipment of line squadrons at that time. Starting from 1926, the Potez XXVIIs entered service with the following line squadrons: 11, 21, 22, 23, 31, 34, 35, 41, 42, 61, 62, 63 (65), 64, and in the 13th and 211th night bomber squadrons. Several were part of the 43rd Accompanying Squadron and the independent accompanying platoon of the 1st Air Force, and later in the 1st Platoon of the 13th Accompanying Squadron. Single examples were assigned to the 5th Air Force Detachment at the Wilno Porubanek airport, the WCBL Experimental Squadron and the Training Company of the Air Service Division in Winiary. Most of the aircraft used in Poland were in the A2 version, about 20 were designated for the role of night bombers. They were also used in special versions: the Aviation Department's disposable (with an additional fuel tank), the liaison version for official flights, the GR - long-range, the aerophoto version, the towing version for the H-type sleeve. At the end of 1928, the Potez XXVII aircraft were considered obsolete and were to be withdrawn from combat squadrons. In the years 1930-1932, they were replaced by the Breguet XIX and Potez XXV aircraft. The withdrawn ones were put into storage, and in flight schools and training squadrons in air regiments, they were in the equipment of: CWOL/OSL, the Aviation Service in Winiary, ET/CZL and CET, and in PLL Lot for training reserve pilots. They were used as training aircraft until 1937, then until 31 August 1939, they were used as towing gun sleeves. During the September Campaign of 1939, there were few recorded cases of use of Potez XXVIIs, mostly for the transport of spare parts and other cargo.
