а я думаю что советы много что взяли у США . просто в США эти разработки не получили должного хода и советы их украли

The text of this page is outdated and cited links are broken, because the MiG 1.44 flew on February 29, 2000, and made another flight before the 1.44 flight test program was canceled. In any case, the Su-57 has picked up where Russia left off on the MiG 1.44 2 decades ago.

machia, e-mail, 29.04.2014 10:02

Looks like a copy of the Eurofighter. B-29, Concorde, Space Shuttle to name a few more, seems like the Russians are good at this, ha ha. Probably a capable fighter however, but doubt that it can be built in any appreciable numbers, to dominate an airspace opposing even the FA18 American Naval fighter.

I think mig 1.42 is like eurofighter with two engine, and two bid vertical fin.

Dalhats Laudzafata Avicena, e-mail, 16.09.2013 15:18

Believe it or not this aircraft stealth is equal with F-22 raptor but cheaper.

Todd, e-mail, 18.01.2013 17:34

Looks like Firefox with just a shorter nose. Did they take the movie prop drawings and shorten it? Or it looks like a slightly bigger version of the BAe P.110 Mock up from 1982 of the current Euro Typhoon. The P.110 had twin fins before these were dropped for the single fin on the current version. Seems either way it was in the works for decades just like the Typhoon took almost 30 years to reach operation status. Lost out to Sukoi PAK-50 and now sits at Air Museum for all to see and oggle over what could have been. Just like many other planes in other countries now just a show peace of history.

Mystery?, 03.07.2012 19:24

This plane is 4 times cheaper than the F-22 HA

pkpatriot, 30.03.2012 02:31

Well I live in Georgia. That would probably be near robins correct? Well with how that base goes it could be ours or theirs

sal, e-mail, 19.02.2012 18:46

WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT THIS AIRCRAFT WAS TESTED IN THE U S AROUND GEORGIA IN THE PAST TWO OR THREE YEARS ? THIS LOOKS VERY MUCH LIKE AN AIRCRAFT THAT FLEW VERY LOW OVER MY HOUSE A WHILE AGO. (LOW ENOUGH TO SEE THE SEPORATE RIVITED PANALES.) THERE WERE TWO RECOGNIZABLE U S PLANES ESCORTING IT.

Jeff Joseph, e-mail, 12.02.2012 05:00

Looks like a copy of Eurofighter to me.

don, e-mail, 07.12.2011 04:46

well brian, without the soviets to push us we'd still be flying f80s and early sabres. we've learned a helluva lot from them and our academic exchanges on nonlinear solutions in the late 50s to 60s yielded the USA mucho benefit.
Lastly their hi-performance stuff would still be flying and improved if it wasn't for their screwed-up politics.
by the way, brian; how many hi-performance hours in the air do you have? less than my measley 500+ I'd wager

raptor, e-mail, 28.11.2011 14:51

trop beau love

BATTLE DAWN, e-mail, 06.10.2011 21:26

Fights well in TC: HAWX

Brian, e-mail, 22.02.2011 04:11

Ryan,
The F-14 was retired years ago. The F-18E/F SuperHornet is essentially a completely new aircraft. The F-35 will hit the streets in a year or two. How many of these are flying? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Jman226, e-mail, 20.02.2011 20:21

this plane looks awesome

chalitha, e-mail, 28.07.2010 11:39

i can creat new missile system for that. i will be an aircraft enginear.

wan, e-mail, 11.03.2010 03:06

wow.! it's very great

Ryan, e-mail, 25.02.2010 19:21

Well, now that we're bogged down in year 8 of the "War on Terror" (HAHAHAHAHAHA)and our illustrious president has decided to gut the F22 program in favor of building more drones, we had better keep a wary eye on Russia. Economically speaking, they've been where we are headed back in the 1990's. They will soon have air superiority as our best long-range air-to-air fighters, the F-18 and F-14 turn 36 and 38 respectively this year. Hopefully Oblabba will be a one-termer and we can get our national defense head pulled out and focussed where it needs to be: Russia, China, India, North Korea.

robson mauka, e-mail, 21.12.2009 12:05

Its a great plane so much power to anihhilate/destroy special targets swiftly.I want to be your sales agent and i do have real contacts at the highest levels of governments in Africa and beyond

Leonardo Rastelli, e-mail, 18.11.2009 02:49

I think that this plane,if completely developed, would be a match to the Rpator. The american claimed stealth aircraft only have its performance numbers sustained by what american maker talk. How to rely if isn't possible to test what this plane really can do ? I believe in facts,I see,I touch,I test,I confer the thruth,so I will rely. Not in propagandas...

Juan Houston, e-mail, 11.11.2009 03:06

The Russians have always had superior fight jets, rockets aerobatic aircraft than the USA. the first Mig, vectored thrust, etc, etc, etc. Give credit were credit is due.

Trash, 15.06.2009 00:46

I saw more information on russian sites. It's prototip of new 5th generation fighter.

MudMarine, e-mail, 10.06.2009 23:50

Looks like a giant target for an f22 or f35.

leo rudnicki, e-mail, 11.04.2009 16:47

Who names these things? What if Clint Eastwood was sent to steal the Flatulence, armed with IR Agile dogfight missiles and A-A 15 Arthritis medium range missiles.they're having trouble with Arthritis when it's damp. With forward fuselage extended, this could be the movie Firefox.

Taufan, e-mail, 21.12.2008 07:33

Russia should try to design average dimension airframe. The size of MiG-21 and MiG-29 would be better.

calum morris, e-mail, 24.02.2008 20:10

codename Flatpack in case you wondered

calum morris, e-mail, 24.02.2008 20:04

same, its the mig-35 for deffinate now the 39 is an upgraded mig-29 like the 33 and 37

John Goettl, e-mail, 08.02.2007 08:30

That is one snazzy looking plane whether it is the MiG-35 or the MiG-39. I have heard it called both.
