| Mark Wilson, e-mail, 07.11.2010 08:25 I have been building my Q1 here in Ballarat, Australia. It is difficult to find information about this aeroplane .Just finished painting it and have the Rotax engine fitted. Had to build new engine cowls and modify the canopy housing. Build and fit new fuel tanks but stil have a long way to go. However this is a beautiful looking little aeroplane

| Tim Vanhecke, e-mail, 25.02.2010 23:34 I am looking for a Quickie Q2 or Q200... unassembled is preferable.. But I will consider a Quickie at any stage of contstruction. I will even consider a completed unit.

| GeoB, e-mail, 18.02.2010 22:29 The engine specified above is a typo. It was an Onan engine. The original engine was 18 hp, and had a direct-drive prop. The factory published plans to convert the 18 hp to 22 hp, but they had some problems, I think head gaskets and something else, detonation? They researched a turbocharged Onan but it was not released. The Onan was heavy for its weight. For its size and hp it is stressed very low. It has huge bearings, a very strong crank, but restrictive intake and exhaust.
