There is information that a Fi-167 was attacked by P-51 Mustang Mk III fighters of 213 Squadron RAF, on 10 Oct 1944. and that aircraft brought down one Mustang before himself being shot down. It was, however, not a Romanian Fieseler, but a Croation aircraft.

This sucker really was incredible. My great uncle was a P-51 pilot and he tried to tackle a Romanian one and the pilot brought him down! That's incredible!
