Despite the machine guns this was never really a fighter. It was specifically designed to set a world's speed record. The stories that it was intended to be a replacement for the Me109 was strictly propaganda. That was because it was built to go fast at the expense of every other consideration.

IT WOULD BE COULD TO SEE BF-209 IN RENO IN NEVADA.
WHY DOES NOT KNOW? It's cool to see a machine like it
SPOOT THE SHOOT OF P-51D AND SEA FJURY. IT'S EXCELLENT FUNNY.
A FLIGHT PAN THAT CAN BE OVER 799 KM / H.
THERE IS NOT P-51 OR SEA FJURY.
IT IS HEVY FUN.

Looks like an me 109 drawn on the back of a spoon

Google and make sure you leave a space in between Me and 209. The information you are looking for should be on the first page of sites.

Would appreciate it more info could be provided on this plane. Just to give you an idea of how much info you're missing check out this site

http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/AC/aircraft/Messerschmitt-Me209/info/info.htm

They might be lacking in the layout of their text and images, but they should have the info anyone might be looking for. I'd refer more sights but I'm busy at the moment. Just type in Me 209 in Google and make sure you leave a space in between Me and 209. The information you are looking for should be on the first page of sites.

Hope you found my comment useful and please don't take offense to it as I'm only trying to be helpful to those who view this site most often.
