The two aircraft were almost identical. The Dormouse was built to Air Ministry specification 22/22 for a two seat reconnaissance fighter and the Dingo was built to specification 8/24 for a two seat army co-operation plane. Both were wooden built but a later built Dingo II was an all metal plane. There was a variation in power plant in that the Dingo used a nine cylinder Bristol Jupiter engine of 410 h.p. Neither went into production with the Dormouse going to Farnborough for experimental radio work between March and December 1925 before being written off in an accident. The Dingo I crashed at Martlesham Heath during trials during June 1924 and the Dingo II was last heard of at Farnborough in November 1926.
