For more information concerning Brice Herbert Goldsborough read my book about him, my great uncle. The book's title is:A Pioneer in Aviation. It was written using original documentation collected by his sister-in-law, my grandmother, Julia Ethel Goldsborough and published by Iuniverse.

A message was received at the Sable Island wireless station using their call sign "Something's wrong here" after which nothing else was heard. On January 29th 1929 a message in a bottle was found which read "1928, we are freezing. Gas leaked out. We are drifting off Grand Banks. Grayson." And sadly that was that.

Hello to all, on Friday September 14, 2012 I will list for sale on Ebay a photo of the aircraft being prepared for departure from Old Orchard. It is an original vintage photo used by a German press agency and has turned sepia. On the back it says in German that "Mrs. Frances Grayson had made an emergency landing on open sea" while trying to cross the Atlantic from Old Orchard to Copenhagen with an intermediate stop in Ireland. Auction ends Friday September 21 at 14.08hrs CET / 2.08pm EST. All inquiries are welcome and copies of the photo can be send, however with my email address superimposed. Kind regards, Frank

My Dad flew a Grumman Goose for Andean National. Has anyone ever seen any photos or articles about the Andean national Grumman Gooses?

I was a navigator in WW2. I trained at the Dinner Key, Florida Pan Am school of Navigation. We flew in a 2 engine flying boat. I would like to get a picture of this plane. I am in the process of writing my WW2 experinces.

Hello: I am looking for a photo of Frances Grayson and her Sikorsky for a book that I am close to completing. So far, I have not been able to find any photos of her. I notice, however, that your avia.russian.ee website includes a photo of what appears to be Mrs. Grayson posing on the nose of her plane. Would it be possible to obtain a large jpeg or TIFF file? I would be happy to attribute the photo properly, and to provide you with a complimentary copy of the book once it is published this summer. Thank you Gavin Will Newfoundland
