Does anyone knows about the Air conditioning system of aircraft, The operating coolant in our aircraft is R-12 which is abundant in present day world. Is there any modification for this system. Please let me know.

The 1981 421C was introduced with trailing link main gear. I flew a 1977 model 421C for 17 years what a great airplane.

I flew one in 1985 or 86 for a while, one of the last ones. The 425 was one of my favorites, a 421 with a much improved tail and the new gear. The 421 got it pretty quickly but faded fast.

I also flew the Riley conversion of the 421, enough power to go really fast, too bad you had to adhere to the 421 numbers and the top of the green was the red line. The tail was a good part of that, had to be repaired on a regular basis, the 425 took care of that.

I am trying to confirm the year that the Cessna 421C changed from straight legged landing gear to the trailing link gear.

Thank you.
