Glad I found out about this guy. Bruno Nagler gave this idea a try I read in his 1950's Model 120 and 160 designs. Google patents 2948491 and 3206145 for what he came up with. If you Google "Rotative Engine YouTube" you will see the clip of a Russain company's latest efforts in their engine design to revive this idea for helicopters. |
