Anglo-French supersonic transport developed following November 29,1962 agreements between French and British governments and aircraft/aero-engine companies. Airframe manufacturers BAC and Aerospatiale (both q.v.); engine contractors are Rolls-Royce and SNECMA. Production authorized of two prototype (first flown March 2, 1969), two pre-series and 16 production aircraft (first flown December 6,1973). Back to the letter C
