As well as blocking forward vision, the barrel radiator also blasted the pilot with scorching hot air.

according to thomas g foxworth's book "the speed seekers"the racer had flown at least once and was damaged while attempting to land on sept 24 1922 in preparation for the coupe deutsch piloted by georges madon.

That's an awful thin wing for cantilever, and a neet-o beer keg / coolant radiator. Big hisso V-8? tailplane? Did it fly or did it crash? The world wonders.
