This plane was restored between 1946-1950, initially under Orville Wright's direction (he died in 1948). It has on display at the Carillon Historical Park, Dayton, Ohio, since 1950.

Try "Aeroplane Monthly" magazine, December 1973, pages 373-375, for an excellent article on the Flyer III including a good three-view.

I would sure appreciate an accurate 3 view of this aircraft! I would like to build a radio controlled model with a 5 to 8 foot wingspan.
