European Future Advanced Rotorcraft program launched 1987 by Aerospatiale of France, Agusta and Alenia of Italy, DASA of Germany, CASA of Spain, and Westland of the U.K., to develop a civil tilt-rotor transport. Agusta and CASA later withdrew. Final design not yet selected, and first flight not expected until at least 2004. Back to the letter E
