I would like to respond to Rabbi Yitzak Landau. You are not a member of Mossad but a journalist in Jerusalem. First your question about the Halocaust. Did it happen? Yes and it is one of the great human tragedies of World War II.
Another tragedy were the 3 Million German women and children killed by British Night Bombing. Entire cities were firebombed from the air.
Another tragedy was the Russian takeover of Eastern Europe and the untold number of people killed by Stalin.
A person I trust who is not German or a Nazi, is my neighbor James Newsom. He supports Israel and served six months on Kibbutz Yad Mordecai in 1972. Besides being a great pilot he knows a lot about history. He has told me that people who served in the German Armed Forces have nothing to be ashamed of, they were fighting for the survival of Germany, just as Israel is fighting for her survival. Far to often in history he says that it is the Victorious Nations who write the history books, and history is not viewed as good guys and bad guys, but real people in real situations.
Simon, the reason I did not respond is that you will not like my answer. According to KG-200 records there was no crash of a JU-390 off the coast of Maine. If such a flight occurred it would have to come under the Kriegsmarine long range recon flights, and more likely a Junkers JU-290. A Nuclear Bomb attack would have to be approved of by Himmler and Hitler. No such order was ever given. Simon I wish you the best of luck and hopefully you can prove your ideas, but I do not have any facts that help you prove this improbable idea.

Simon, I did some research and their is a town in California called Delano, and everything Pepper Gonzalez said is true, however I can't confirm if he drinks to much, or hallucinates. I can confirm the 6,000 foot runway at Porterville airport. A friend of mine in Austin Texas has told me he has met Anna Kreisling at the Reno National Air Races. He showed me a picture of her standing in front of a Douglas DC-3 wearing pink shorts, this was 1987 I believe.
Simon, I think Anna Kreisling is real but she is afraid of being arrested as a War Criminal. Most Nazi's after World War II stayed hidden and even changed their names. You can understand why she would want to stay hidden from Public View. Also the CIA also benefits by her staying out of sight. Dear Kevin, the alternate suggestion you made for such a Ju-390 mission in September 1944 is a possibility however the British interned senior German generals in camps with hidden microphones just as they did with Nazi atomic scientists at Farm Hall. These camps were known by acronyms C.S.D.I.C and their summarised evidence was placed before judges at Nuremberg in evidence to obtain convictions. In evidence obtained from General Dornberger and used against him, he revealed how von Braun had accompanied him to secret surrender talks at Lisbon with two men from General Electric. After the war General Electric was only lightly punished for trading with the enemy (in Carballoy deals). In reality General Electric was part of a Privately run espionage operation called the Pond famous for activities in Hungary, where the United states co-opted Raoul Wallenberg of Enskilda Bank. in 1944 Germany had the ability to conduct negotiations in Lisbon, Barcelona, or Stockholm without the need to fly to USA. You ask what downed the aircraft near Owls' Head, Maine and it was unlikely to have been Allied air defences. The Ju-390 aircraft paid a heavy price in fuel consumption for flying above 21,000 ft. Indeed anything above 12,000ft began to take a toll on fuel for long distance flights. on 17 Sept 1944 "The Great Atlantic Hurricane" struck Maine. This was the actual name given to that Hurricane. My guess is they struck icing conditions and found themselves unable to climb above the weather. A few years ago a Convair 580 in NZ iced up in a similar situation and tumbled into the sea into shallow water. I would say this caused the Ju-390 to come down. I still say using a nuclear weapon is by far the more likely objective. I add too Kevin that i invited you to email me. You seem genuine and a chat would be of interest to me. If you have any specific reason to suggest the Ju-390 off Owl's head was involved in something more intricate I am sure I am not the only one interested to hear.

I know a lot about histiory cause I go to school here in Delano, California and I see many pictures of famous people. 30 miles west of here is Porterville Airport with a 6,000 foot runway and a place to get drunk and eat tamales and breakfast. Yesterday I saw an AT-6 Land and this Blonde Pilot and a shorter lady pilot got out of the plane and went inside the BLUE MAX cafe to have a beer. The Gringos told me it was Hanna Reitsch and Anna Kreisling. Simon, three weeks ago I saw a big old biplane land and Anna Kreisling and Heinrich Himmler went in for a beer. Last night on the History Channel they showed STALINGRAD. They reported that the German Luftwaffe flew over 10,500 missions into the Stalingrad pocket. How the Russians had seven layers of defence, fighters, flak and how the YAK fighters considered the Junkers JU-52 transports to be meat on the table. They said that Anna Kreisling flew 108 missions into Stalingrad and was shot down 12 times. One of these by the Russian Lady pilot Lydia Litvyak. She was called the WHITE ROSE OF STALINGRAD. She had more than 12 German planes confirmed victories and she flew the YAK fighter. This is the first time in aerial combat where a woman shot down another woman. Not much of a combat when you consider that one is flying a fighter and the other a Trimotor transport aircraft. It went on to show how Anna Kreisling lost 12 gunners who were killed fighting off these Russian fighters, yet there was no shortage of young men in the Luftwaffe who wanted to volunteer to be one of her gunners. She had the reputation of bringing a plane into Stalingrad no matter how badly it was shot to pieces. You may not understand this, but it is pilots like Anna who paved the way for women to fly in combat in the United States Air Force.

Simon, this Junkers JU-390 Crash off the coast of Maine in September 1944 is very interesting. At this stage in the war it may be connected with high level negotiations between the Third Reich and the United States. Or it could be the sharing of advanced technology for a deal that would ensure the survival of the Third Reich after the war. Something about this crash makes me believe that a Nuclear Device was not involved. In September 1944, a Nuclear attack on New York would have doomed any agreements reached. Something else is involved here. A key question is what caused the Junkers JU-390 to crash. Was it shot down or did it crash due to bad weather or mechanical problems??
Simon one thing is for sure, thousands of Nazi's and scientists and Luftwaffe Aircraft were brought to America at the end of World War II. Three intact Horten Jets were brought to America. The jet Anna Kreisling was captured in is in the Smithonian Air Museum in the basement.

I can only speculate as to the mission's purpose, but a nuclear attack seems the only mission worth the effort, whether a true nuclear weapon, or a radiological dirty bomb. It does raise some questions whether the wreck was ever raised from the sea bed, but it sounds as though it was in very shallow water. Another interesting point is whether it's weapon was recovered or still lays there? Somehow I doubt much was left as it sounds the Coast Guard was involved with some lengthy recovery work over at least ten days. The crash was about 17/18 Sept 1944 and three bodies were recovered from the sea 28 September 44. Yes on 29 June 1944, RLM paid Junkers for completing seven Ju-390 airframes. The Junkers designer Hertel and chief pilot Pancherz both told British investigators there was no second prototype built or flown, but this was technically correct, even if micheivously misleading. They never said there was only one Ju-390 built. People have chosen to take this interpretation. Maj Hoffmann of GL/C/E-2 Reichlin recommended to Milch in Oct 43 that the Ju390 had proved satisfactory and therefore advised to dispense with further prototypes and commence series production. Incase people have not noticed the photo of RC+DA carries the white tail band of North Africa service and I have communicated with a merchant seaman who has the original photo taken from a ship under attack in the Mediterranean. A number of Ju-90 and Ju-290 were attached to III/KG26 wearing the same tail band and if so this means the Ju-390 flew much earlier in 1943. Also Germany did have a tactical nuclear weapon in 1943 developed according to a design patented by Schumann & Trinks in 1942. Enrico fermi who fled to the United states and joined the Manhattan project urged USA to build the Allied nuclear weapon according to the Nazi design in 1942, but it was rejected as too technologically challenging. What should be of most surprise is given their head start why Germany failed. If all they had to attack USA by late 1944 was the Ju-390 and an earlier flight to new York tipped off USA to build a chain of radar stations along the West Coast then it is clear to see why a Ju-390 crashed off Maine is both historically important and a matter of great national sensitivity. Simon, if this is true it does establish the fact that there were more than TWO JU-390's built. Simon there is only one group in the Luftwaffe that dealt with Nuclear Radiation Bombs and that was KG-200. The other unit in France did long range Recon flights for the German Navy. If the bodies were recovered by the U.S. Navy they would have kept this TOP SECRET from the public, in September 1944, the Luftwaffe in Norway was still very active.

Sorry Kevin I failed to answer all of your question. There were a bunch of kids at the time who saw the wreckage of a six engined aircraft in the water off Owl's Head. They described it had six engines and it's camouflage was black/green like that of Alles Kaput at the end of the war. Having six engines rules out the Ju-290. The Bv222 at that time wore green and white camouflage and the Convair B-36 did not emerge until August 1945. It sure as hell did not fly all that way to drop a couple of tons of high explosive.
